9/25/2023 0 Comments Sambas cleats![]() ![]() I used a blank action bar with only 4 things on it:\ It actually impeded my view of him when I started the tame, I had so much crap on my screen lol. I went overboard however, and had a ton of windows and bells and whistles going off when I found him. To be safe I made a /tar Sambas Macro and installed silver dragon. Also be mindful to check the cache to make sure there is no X or it wont alert you either. You have to add Sambas yourself or it wont alert you. I put Sambas as the name and left the world box blank. It DID go off, but for those who are new to using the add on or are concerned about it working correctly, use 50159 as the NPC ID. Excuse me while I get some sleep, been a LONG night lolĮdit: since NPC SCAN is slow on having cata data ready, I input the data manually. I'm the luckiest hunter alive and 10 feet tall right now. I believe the theories about a 8-12 hour respawn are correct, given the sightings of him. It cant be a solid 24 hour respawn, otherwise at best I wouldn't have found him until well after 12pm. The last confirmed horde kill was 12/14/10 at 10:40am pacific, and here we are on friday at 12/17/10 at 8:55am. 3 days of camping.Ī few thoughts about the spawn timer, it seems to be randomized 8-12. Alliance hunters were everywhere, even had a few make me nervous as they landed and surrounded me during the tame, but didn't get in the way. :)Ĭomment by savlionUTHER-US 8:55am (pacific/server) at the northern spawn location 48, 22. Good luck all, those seeking him won't be disappointed at all when they get him.very sharp and stunning pet to have. He is aggressive, tho I tamed him with a ice trap.my friend forgot the trap, which I then saw he did a very "rogueish" move where he popped all over.this did not break the tame and her toon moved with him no matter what side he went to. Not to mention there are very few other animals, if any, around his spawn points.making him a breeze to spot without any npc scanner. I think hunters will find he is much easier to get than the ghost wolf due to location. His spawning points seem to be in a much more secluded area which is nice, as non hunters can't resist killing rares and I've even read of some hunters killing them simply because they aren't quite 85 or all ready have pet. She gave up and went to another zone, when I found him again. Approx 15ish hrs later, my friend had hit 85 and was looking for him. I found him right away and tame went without a hitch. Comment by applebearI've been originally looking for the ghost wolf with no luck, but my first day I did random circles around Sambas spawn points just on a off chance he'd be there.
